Civil service

The Civil Service is a program that allows for voluntary activity aimed at contributing to the promotion of peace and fundamental values. In 2023, the Sambaia Social Cooperative participated, as an implementing body, in the realization of Universal Civil Service projects in collaboration with the MIGMA Social Cooperative. If you are between 18 and 28 years old, join us through the civil service and live a unique experience within our cooperative. Aspiring volunteer operators must submit their application through the DOL platform. The Sambaia Social Cooperative has been committed to combating gender-based and domestic violence since 2019; it manages an Anti-Violence Center and a shelter at a secret address for women victims of violence with or without minor children, with the aim of supporting and helping women who are victims of physical, sexual, psychological, or economic violence, and any other form of limitation and violation of personal freedom.
Furthermore, the Cooperative provides assistance to minors through educational, recreational, and welfare activities.
The SAMBAIA Social Cooperative collaborates with other cooperatives on projects related to the agricultural and social sectors.
