Our Collaborations

The Sambaia cooperative, through its collaborations with various associations, seeks to connect with different organizations to implement projects aimed at raising awareness about violence, combating gender-based violence, and informing the local population about the phenomenon of violence through carefully designed programs, organizing thematic meetings in schools to promote the value of respect for oneself and others.

AMORU' "Territorial Anti-Violence Network – Too Much Love Kills"

A metropolitan anti-violence network committed to supporting and developing comprehensive care for women victims of violence and minors who witness violence. The network extends across the territory of Palermo, Villabate, Altavilla Milicia, Termini Imerese, Bagheria, Villabate, and Casteldaccia.

Trinacria Elix Cooperative - Trinacria Anti-Violence Center.

An anti-violence and listening center that deals with the management and prevention of domestic and gender-based violence. Its purpose is to create an individualized support pathway aimed at women’s self-determination, giving voice to those who do not have the courage to speak.

Human Rights Association Against All Violence - Co.Tu.Le.Vi

Carries out volunteer activities within the territory of the Sicilian region in favor of individuals and families, Italian and foreign, at risk of marginalization/social exclusion due to economic, social, and/or cultural disadvantage, victims of abuse, violence, and/or coercive treatment.

Quadrifoglio Social Cooperative, Santa Margherita di Belice (AG)

Located at Via Giusti n.84. Provides reception and support services in residential and semi-residential settings for minors with social difficulties and Italian and foreign women victims of violence.

"Anti-Violence Center" Project

The “Anti-Violence Center” project in collaboration with local associations in the municipality of Bagheria, which funded another project in 2022 “I Start Again with You to Be a Community.”

University of Palermo - Unipa

Since 2025, Sambaia has established an agreement with the University of Palermo to promote curricular internships within its facility

Non-profit cultural association from Palermo, active since 2018 in the field of promoting and disseminating cultural and artistic activities.

Panormos - Artistic Workshop

Born from a cultural project conceived by a young director and actor Andrea Lombardo. The main objectives of the cultural space are to create collaborations between training schools, other academies, local radio and TV stations, and local professionals, to increase artistic, theatrical, and cinematographic production throughout Southern Italy.

Activities

  • We manage shelters for women victims of violence and minors

Women Victims of Violence

A support and accompaniment project for women victims of violence, offering them a safe shelter, psychological support, and pathways to social and employment reintegration. The goal is to help women rebuild their lives.

Minors

A reception and assistance project for minors in difficulty, offering them a safe environment, education, recreational activities, and pathways to autonomy. Psychological support, educational services, and social integration pathways are provided.

Agriculture

A social agriculture project that develops land confiscated from the mafia and offers employment opportunities to disadvantaged individuals. The initiative promotes legality, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability, while also creating professional training pathways.
